Currently engineers are in the process of eliminating intermitant stalls following our scheduled

regional upgrade maintenance. This should remedy itself through the reaminer of the morning.

To ALL SolvNet Customers with users in these POP's, There will be a scheduled emergency maintenance between 12:01a.m. - 6:00a.m. There are no expected outages during this time. We will be testing new fiber. If you experience any problems past the maintenance window please contact our NOC.

Scheduled Downtime - 012/022 New York/New Jersey

To ALL SolvNet Customers with users in New York and New Jersey POPs,

Beginning at 1:00am CST and again at 4:00am CST, our Telco provider in our New York and New Jersey POPs will be testing recently installed backup power. The tests in each case are expected to last a maximum of 20 minutes each, during with times customers may experience busy signals, no answer, disconnects, and potential routing issues. SolvNet engineers will be watching this cutover closely to ensure all services are restored after testing of backup power is complete. -MM

Scheduled Upgrade - Network Testing


Scheduled Maintenance : Detroit, MI POP Date: 1/13/00

Est.Start Time: 8:00am CST Time to Completion: 1 hour, 30 minutes


During the hours of 8:00 AM CST until 9:30 AM CST, SolvNet will be performing intrusive testing and modification on our dialup circuits in order to address recent busy signals during hours that we are at less than peak. SolvNet and it's telco provider will be re-engineering a number of circuits our of our POP in order to provide better service. Customers may experience call drops and busy signals during this time. Please check the 'NOC Status' page during this time for more information on how the work progresses. Thank you.

Scheduled Upgrade - Mail Server Maintenance

Saturday, November 13, 1999 @ 2:00 AM - 5:00 AM Central:



     The following services will be affected during this period:  The Account
 Provisioning Protocol (APP), Mail Administration Center (MAC), and all
 mail services(POP, SMTP, IMAP, LDAP and etc).These services will be inaccessible 
 during this period. We will be rolling upgrades to our databases.

     Please feel free to contact us if you experiance any problems after the scheduled 
 window of time.

Scheduled Upgrade - News Server Maintenance

To ALL SolvNet Customers,



Weds  11/10   @ 6:00 AM Central:



   Impact:  News server potentially unavailable for up to 30 minutes.



   Upgrade firmware on existing RAID Controller to  prepare for RAID

   disk upgrade.

   



Weds  11/17   @ 4:00 AM Central:

 

   Impact:  News server potentially unavailable for up to 2 hours.

            Once back online we will need to repropogate all news groups as

            this is a complete RAID hardware upgrade



   Upgrade news server hardware and install additional RAID capacity.

Scheduled Upgrade - IP change over for LA

To ALL SolvNet Customers,



We are currently planning an IP change for the entire LA LAN on Thursday morning. This should 

not result in any outages or loss of ability. This will however have an effect on static ip's 

that utilize this POP location. There will be a notification sent out to all main contacts 

regarding and overview of the changes necessary. Thank you for your patience in this matter.
